Performing Arts Productions
The Performing Arts Productions are OC Next Act’s most popular and celebrated offerings. Since 2021, our team has produced and directed a diverse lineup of beloved Broadway-style youth productions, including Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Aladdin, The Lion King Jr., Shrek Jr., Annie Jr. and The Wizard of Oz,. In addition to licensed musicals, we proudly champion student creativity by developing original works such as HupaFlex, written and performed by our Marvels High School Ensemble.
Our comprehensive musical theater experience allows performers to train in acting, singing, and dance while working collaboratively to bring stories to life onstage. Students build self-confidence, communication skills, and discipline as they rehearse and perform for family, peers, and community audiences. With a focus on inclusion, mentorship, and character-building, the Performing Arts Productions foster an environment where every participant can shine.
Participants collaborate on imaginative projects that strengthen problem-solving abilities, social interaction, and flexibility while celebrating diverse perspectives and individual strengths. Every activity is designed to foster joy, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment as students create meaningful art that reflects who they are.
