Community Fundraising Events

OC Next Act hosts a variety of family-friendly fundraising events designed to strengthen community connections while increasing visibility and support for our programs.

Purpose of Community Fundraising Events

Together, these events aim to:

  • Build strong connections among OC Next Act families
  • Increase community awareness and exposure
  • Create safe, joyful experiences for youth
  • Support ongoing theater arts education and programming

Annual Holiday Palooza Fundraiser

The Holiday Palooza is an annual December community celebration created to bring OC Next Act families together in a festive, safe, and welcoming environment. Activities include Christmas caroling, cookie decorating, white elephant gift exchange, dinner and other holiday-themed youth experiences that encourage connection and joy.

This event serves as both a community-building initiative and an outreach fundraiser, helping increase awareness of OC Next Act while supporting our programs.

This event typically generates $300-$600.00 which helps with OC Next Act Musical Theater expenses such as T-Shirts, Cast Party and some production costs. 

Ice Blocking Fundraisers

Ice Blocking Fundraisers are separate community outreach events that offer a fun, active experience for youth and families. These events are designed to be accessible, engaging, and family-safe while creating opportunities for broader community exposure.

Ice Blocking fundraisers typically generate $100 per family-based community event and help introduce new families to OC Next Act in an informal, joyful setting.
